Toque & Talbier cakes are made in Montreal, Quebec. They are brimful of candied and dried fruits and nuts, wrapped in the perfect amount of pure butter dough. Once baked, every cake is matured with alcohol for at least 30 days. Even though no preservatives are added, our cakes have no expiration date. We carefully control the level of acidity and sugar so they can be preserved at room temperature, in a cool, dry place.

It is suggested to refrigerate the cakes at least 5 hours prior to cutting. This will make it easier to cut thin slices of 5 mm and avoid crumbling. It is also recommended using a sharp knife with a straight edge (no bread knife). Once cut, the cake slices should be served at room temperature. The cakes are perfect to eat with fine cheeses, port wine and ice cider.
