Pure saffron pistils 0.25 g from the 2021 harvest. For colouring, flavouring and perfuming 15 to 40 portions. Grown in Quebec with great care, each saffron flower has been picked and pruned by hand. Pistils are dried in small batches in a low-temperature oven, then set aside for a month to allow the unique aroma and subtle fragrance of saffron to develop.
