Located in the Eastern Townships, the Bobines family fish farm operates the largest rainbow trout breeding site in Québec. Founded in 1980 by Normand Roy and Doris Brodeur, Truite les Bobines is recognized as the only Québec company to directly process rainbow trout on a farm.

The two entrepreneurs, who have more than 30 years of experience in the field of aquaculture, have developed a sustainable and eco-friendly aquaculture system of which they are very proud. The fish live in high quality spring water from a groundwater table free from external contamination. Its cool and constant temperature throughout the year contributes to the well-being of the fish. I have always had a special interest in trout. When I was young, I went fishing regularly. My greatest pleasure after all these years is feeding the fish. My favorite product is our hot-smoked trout.
