Gourmet Sauvage is a family story, that of Gérald, his daughter Ariane and his son-in-law Pascal. Three people who are passionate about the flavours and textures of the wild products that abound in our beautiful boreal forests.
For 25 years, the company has promoted boreal gastronomy through the harvesting and artisanal processing of around a hundred forest products from across Québec. Guided by their love for the forest and their desire to make the wild terroir known, the Gourmet Sauvage team responsibly picks each ingredient at home and cooks them slowly, a small amount at a time, to preserve all their flavours. From wild mushroom mustard to daisy capers, milkweed pods and marinated cattail hearts, Gourmet Sauvage brings you closer to nature by bringing the treasures of the forest to your table in the greatest respect for the environment.
